Ashiana Humanitarian Network is pleased to announce its third women’s workshop will be held on Saturday, 16 November 2024 at the Victoria Park Community Centre, 248 Gloucester St East Victoria Park, from 1pm to 5pm.
After the success of our first workshop held on 4 May 2024 and the second workshop, held on 3 August 2024, we are proud to bring women from refugee and humanitarian communities together to explore opportunities to support their wellbeing, safety and access to justice.
We have developed a program with the support of speakers from the Centre for Women’s Safety and Wellbeing, Ishar Multicultural Women’s Health Services, and Women’s Legal Service WA to address what services are available in the community to support women’s wellbeing, safety and access to justice, with ample opportunity to ask questions.
This third workshop has only been possible with the generous support of the WA Department of Communities as part of their Women’s Grants for a Stronger Future.
You can find further details and register for this FREE event via TryBooking: https://www.trybooking.com/CVYZS
We will publish a detailed program closer to the date but the event promises to be packed with useful information and opportunities for conversation. Light refreshments will also be provided, so come along and learn about access to support and your pathway to wellbeing, safety and access to justice while building social connections.
We look forward to welcoming you!
