ANNOUNCEMENT: Listen to Her Voice: Workshop 4 May 2024
Ashiana’s first workshop supporting women from refugee and humanitarian backgrounds will be held on Saturday, 4 May 2024 at CYRIL JACKSON SENIOR CAMPUS at 53 Reid Street, Bassendean.
This is the first of three workshops which will be run by Ashiana in 2024 with the support of funding from the Department of Communities WA as part of their Women’s Grants for a Stronger Future, which we were proud to announce on International Women’s Day this year. Our first workshop will be focused on themes of connection, sharing, celebration, and learning. With the isolation and struggles often faced by women from refugee and humanitarian backgrounds, we aim to create a safe space for women to meet to share their journeys, experiences, concerns and achievements. You can read more about the workshop on our News page.
